There is also a generic RPG system called CoreRPG available that provides basic, system agnostic functionality that you can use with any game system.
To experience the best possible demo, we recommend signing up for a monthly subscription of the Ultimate license and using the 30-day money back guarantee if you are at all dissatisfied. In this case, you would be limited to data that the parent companies for those games has allowed us to include with the program (referred to as the System Reference Document or SRD) and whatever you enter into the program yourself. They will be installed automatically by the Fantasy Grounds web installer, and they are also available in the Downloads section of the Fantasy Grounds website. It is designed to perform many of the things you can do while playing at a conventional gaming table and move it online. There is no limit to the number of players you can host and they can play in groups with non-Demo users as well. Fantasy Grounds is an application acting as a virtual online gaming table primarily intended for pen and paper style narrative role playing games.
My only complaint is I'd also like maps for the encounters that don't have maps in the official module. If you want to run the official modules(they're getting released in FG) then it's basically all there. Fantasy Grounds suffers greatly from lack of screen real estate, and the unity upgrade has done nothing to rectify this. But I don't think you'd need the hard copy for the modules they publish. Added SpeedX as new effect that will change PCs speed.
Update Nov 4 2021: Added support for Custom effects, it will no longer break those. Updates will continue to be made at DMs guild as well and you will be able to download them on the My Library section. Ditto with exp.įor the PHB, DM guides I don't know how practical it is to just use the FG modules. There is currently no way to transfer your purchases to the forge. Encounter have treasure? Just drag the treasure parcel to the chat box or party sheet. Even the room text for each room you can just click on and it goes to the chat box. Click to bring that up and click on a button that plops the encounter into the combat tracker and on pre-setup positions on the map. You click to bring that up, the story references an encounter. Get to the Cragmaw Hideout, the story text references the map.
They have the story in those alsoīut the good part is the encounter/maps setup. The real gold is in the adventure modules though.
Here's a screenshot of the PHB reference in FG2. They make an effort to add it all in, actually. But the "Core Class Pack" probably only has part of the Player's Handbook.
